2. Anti-Corruption Statement

LANA AP.MA has a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption: Conducting business in a manner that complies with the law and preventing bribery and corruption. The Firm is committed to ensure that employees, contractors, foreign counsel and agents share these standards. The Law Firm is subject to the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and UK Bribery Act 2010 and has adopted an Anti-Corruption Policy. The policy is based on an assessment by LANA AP.MA of the external and internal bribery risks that might face the Firm and applies also to those that perform services for the Law Firm. LANA AP.MA does not use intermediaries or third parties that engage in unethical practices which would be prohibited under any applicable laws when acting for the Firm.

3. Anti-Money Laundering Policies and Procedures

The Law Firm´s anti-money laundering (AML) policies are based on the highest standards that are required in the jurisdictions where it operates. The Firm conducts client due diligence enquiries on each client, persons connected with them. These enquiries are based on the FATF Recommendations and the EU Fifth Money Laundering Directive. Where individuals have transmitted personal information for this purpose, we will only use it for that purpose and will keep it just as long as the relevant AML and data protection legislation requires.
